Eat the FROG!!!

Mark Twain suggested, if you ever have to eat a live frog, do it first thing in the morning. Yuck! If you are like me, you are thinking this sounds awful and probably will never happen. But it is good advice!!
WHY??
Because you can go through the rest of your day, knowing that the hardest task is done.
I know there are a lot of items on my “to -do “ list every day. And most days, the items that I like the least, are done last. But why procrastinate? Think about the goals that you have had forever, but have never taken that first step. Think about the difficult decision that you keep delaying. Think about every Monday when you say, “no more.”
THAT IS YOUR FROG!!
In order to start winning your day, and to finally lose that last 10 lbs, or learn to cross fit, or whatever your FROG is, it’s time to eat that frog now!
How you start the day sets the tone for the rest of the day. Most of us are trying to figure out if we have matching shoes on as we head out the door, or grabbing lunches, or yelling at kids and never giving a second thought to morning routines or consistent habits. You have to start first thing in the morning setting intentional routines.
Give yourself a deadline and get started. It is a hard habit to swallow, but it is the only way to create success.
What is one thing that you least like to do, but always feel good after you do it? It could be exercise. So start setting your alarm, getting up and workout first thing in the morning. No questions just do it. Once you finish, you are done for the day. You will start to feel better because you know that you didn’t procrastinate, and no excuses for not getting it done.
You have to start figuring out a morning routine that works for you.
