Power Naps

Have you ever taken a "Power Nap?" A power nap is really just a fancy term for a 10-15 minute nap taken during the day. It is a nap meant to help your recharge and get through the rest of the day. But a "Power Nap" doesn't really fix the problem. At the end of the day, you are still tired, and exhausted.

Quick Fix Diets are the same as a "Power Nap." They might temporarily fix the problem, but as soon as you stop following the diet... you are still overweight, stressed, and overwhelmed. And sometimes you gain all the weight back and more.

Everyone wants the Quick Fix Diets to solve the problem, and lose the weight quick. Looking for that instant gratification. But the reality is... it's just a temporary fix.

In order to create real success, and to fix the problem you have to do the work. And that means doing the small actionable steps day in and day out.

Actionable steps:

Drink more water.

Get 7-8 hours of sleep.

Strength train or resistance training.

Daily Movement.

Eat more Protein.

Eat Carbs.

Eat Vegetables.

Avoid Processed foods.

Avoid extra sugars.

At the end of the day, the Quick Fix diets sound good, and they might temporarily fix the problem but in order to have lasting results you have to do the reps to build the habits. Lasting results are built on the foundation of consistency, and work.

If you struggle with temporary fixes, and keep gaining all the weight back maybe it's time to stop. Start working with 6T Fit Coaching today, and learn how to break the cycle of losing and gaining it all back.
